Seth Guy

Seth Guy, 20, of Doyle, TN, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, following an automobile accident.

Guy was born on December 7, 1989, in Warren County, the son of Tommy Wendell and Mary Kathleen McCoy Guy. He was a CNA at Life Care Center.

Seth is survived by his mother, Mary K. McCoy Guy of Doyle; father, Wendell Guy, of Brockale Community; daughter, Brooklyn Paige Herring, of Sparta; son, Bryson Lee Carter of Cookeville; two sisters and brother- in-law, Bridget and Barney Evans of Spencer and Nakisha K. Guy of Doyle; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Joe and Brandy Grissom of Spencer; maternal grandmother, Betty McCoy of Spencer; two nieces, Kylie Evans and Augusta Grissom both of Spencer and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Jeannetta Guy; maternal grandfather, William Lester McCoy and uncle, Walter Linn McCoy.

Funeral services will be held in High’s Chapel in McMinnville on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 4 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Long Cemetery in Van Buren County. Elmer Blaylock and Haskel Myers will officiate.
